What a sweet photo. So many emotions conjured up in this one...
What a lovly picture
A great picture. So homey. I love the fireplace. I live in Singapore, you see. Only the bunglow houses can have a fireplace, but that is crazy given our climate. I have always dreamt of lying next to the fireplace during winter, just like that picture. I envy your family.
This is our second winter with wood heat. We put in a wood stove that has a glass window front so you can watch the fire. Burning by wood is a little more work.... well a lot more work but we love it. We are saving $2100 in heating cost over propane.
