Dream A Little Dream
Ava, in our kitchen, watching me pour coffee into a mug, five minutes ago:
"I can't wait until I'm old enough to drink coffee. And then, when I'm that old, I'm going to have a TV in my room, and I can watch it. Yay!!!"

Dont you miss having that simple perspective on life? If only she knew that being an adult was sooo much more complicated than a cup of coffee and a TV in your room :)
Everyone's gotta have clear goals in life, right?
i remember my first cup of coffee as a child. it was at the age of about 10. and let me tell you, i did not have a tv in my room. so does that mean mommy and daddy (the coffee-drinkers) have a tv in their room (because that is a grown-up thing, right?)? ;)
