hi.. this is my second time visit your blog. and for your information, i got this url from "the blog of note".. i think your blog is interesting. you not only focuse on one subject. but it was really your world, that you think is perfect.
i like it. my blog is not in english, but in bahasa indonesia. sure, you might not understand what s in it. But most of all my posting is about the rebelion of the fact that happen. that the world is not always perfect for me.
i might be wrong. but... i will try to see the world from other side, so i also can speak, the world is perfect to me... :)
This, with no doubt, is the most beautiful blog that I've ever seen. I have to work much harder to get even close to you but I need a little stability in my life, first. keep the excellent work.
A few people have asked about the photo... not to spoil the mystery or anything, but it's an icicle, hanging off the place in Vermont where we spent last weekend skiing. And by "Hanging On" I was talking about winter.
I just started blogging about my own parenting experiences, of course, in the context of my own life. I am so inspired by your writing and perspectives. Thank you!
I stumbled upon your blog a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. I am still a student in college but I know I will refer to this blog when I have my own children, as it offers so much knowledge and situations I can learn from. I read your blog from first post to present and I am truly addicted! I aspire to be a journalist one day- hoping to achieve your success in the blog community as well.
So I was just having a bad night when i decided to cruise the internet for something to give me some hope. I came across this blogging website and to be honest I have no idea what I am doing. Although I was looking at other blogs to try to understand it more but I still dont understand this. But i LOVE this picture. I mean the title buts much of the emphasis on it. Its awesome. Did you take that phote yourself?
Dad, The picture with caption makes me think of one of the Habits of the Mind: Responding with wonderment and awe - your photo touched a number of people in this way, and with the simple caption "Hanging On," we can all connect it to our lives, be it the literal dragging out of winter, or the desperate clawing at life that some unfortunate souls experience. Continue blogging - your insights are interesting and thought provoking (I love the line, "or learning not to wander about the house with digestive waste suspended in purpose-built undergarments."
I use a Canon PowerShot SD750, one of the models in their "Digital ELPH" series. About the size of a deck of cards, its portability works for me. Also really like the "Macro" setting, which was used to take this shot.

No, US - Northeast. But have been to Toronto many times and really love that city, just beautiful. Thanks very much for the comment.
I love the pic.. cant exactly telwhat it is but it sends out a good vibe.
People like Annie (retnanda) are amazing. They live under horrendous circumstances but are willing and hoping to get the best out of life.
Life is amazing and the small things in it are worth waking up for in the morning.
Thanks for the perspective.
PS. The Macro setting on your camera is awesome! :)

however, I must say that winter is getting a little bit tiresome, especially when it snows throughout the first week of spring.
